Defrost Network has created an unofficial blog called Defrost Models. The blog is designed to promote the activities and work of a core group of models, photographers, makeup artists and stylists in Calgary.

The Black Edition website is nearly completed. The idea was to create a simple portfolio presentation that allows users to easily scroll through a large number of portfolio works quickly.
Although the big list is not the prettiest way of doing things, it can often times be the most effective way to build a page and deliver content.
I'm working on a little CSS project for a client in Tokyo, Japan that involves boosting their rating in Search Engines. I'm hoping to expand this site into a full redesign if this experiment proves fruitful. The client recognizes the need for higher search results and page ranking, but so far has not taken the plunge to fully redesign the site. I figured this would be a nice test of CSS design and SEO for a highly fought-after term:Executive Search and Recruiting.
It seems that Apple is recruiting. A week or so ago I got a call from the lead recruiter for design services at Apple. She saw my work and was wondering if I might be interested in going to work for the .Mac design team down in Cupertino. I was very flattered, but at this point I'd say that relocation is out of the question. Especially since we're on the heels of a move into a new house next month. When asked if they might consider outsourcing, they seemed open to it, however she did mention that full-time on-site is preferred.
We'll have to wait and see if anything comes of it. But, hey, even if nothing else, Apple called little ol' me! :-) Giddy up.
